Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair condition with wear, scuffing, and scratches consistent with use and age. Bezel with small scuffs and wear throughout. A small nick to the bezel between 5 and 6. Scratches and light oxidation to the bands. Impression of hallmark still apparent to the case band above the lower right lug. Scuffing and wear to the lugs. Snap on case back with undulations across the entire surface. some wear to the lip from opening and closing. Dial in fair condition with some heavy oxidation to the outer perimeter especially from 12-3. Surface markings, dots, and light debris throughout. Hands with some spot markings and light scuffs. Movement in very good condition.
