Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case in overall fair vintage condition with wear, markings and nicks consistent with use and age. Concave bezel with light scuffing throughout. Some heavier marks at 1. Stepped lugs with wear and small markings. Case bands with oxidation, scuffing and marks. . Left side case band with some material distortion likely from opening and closing. Dial in overall very good vintage condition with some light markings and debris. Dial with some vertical markings suggesting sympathetic wash. Indexes and hands with some markings. Movement in good condition.
Please note that a Patek Philippe service sticker is adhered to the case back. We have thus not inspected the case back directly.
