• manual winding nickel lever movement, 18 jewels • silvered dial, applied yellow gold baton indexes, yellow gold baton hands, subsidiary seconds • 18k yellow gold square form case, chamfered bezel, inscribed snap on case back • case, dial and movement signed 

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in fair vintage condition with signs of polish, wear, and light markings consistent with age and use. Solid case back inscribed "To R.E.K. with all my love D.K.K. June 28, 1951." Oxidation to some areas. Dial in poor condition with heavy yellowing oxidation throughout. Darker surface markings and debris. Movement in very good condition. Please note that the piece does not have a branded buckle. An associated buckle and strap is provided for exhibition purposes.
