Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair condition with signs of polishing throughout, wear and markings consistent with age and use. Lugs and bezel with more significant signs of polishing. Upper left lug with some nicks and scuffing. Crystal with heavy scuffing and scratches. Dial in excellent vintage condition with light wear. Some light debris to the subsidiary dials. Light oxidation to the lumed areas, lume dots have been reapplied. Case back and back of lugs with wear and light markings. Bracelet with equivalent wear. Chronograph function working properly, Movement in good condition.

Catalogue Note

The present reference 6265 has a well preserved, evenly aged dial with light wear to the subdials. It is further complemented by white gold hands and indexes, symbolized by the 'sigma' notation outside the 'T SWISS T' designation.
