Catalogue Note

Though the present lot has two chronograph buttons on the case, all chronograph functions are controlled by solely the top button.  The distinctive monopusher movement was almost exclusively produced by Valjoux for Eberhard. The second button on this model serves both as an aesthetic accent, and also acts as a "sliding lock" mechanism.  When slid towards the crown, it  locks the chronograph hands, preventing an accidental re-set of the function.
