• cal. 866 nickel and gilt lever movement, 18 jewels • black dial, painted luminescent baton indexes, white luminescent hands, white luminescent chronograph hand, sunken engine turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minute, and 12 hour registers, date combined with moon phases, outer minute markers with 1/5 second divisions • stainless steel case, Lyre lugs, black bezel calibrated for tachometer scale, round chronograph pushers, screw down chased case back • case, dial, and movement signed • with a stainless steel Omega bracelet and folding clasp

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall excellent vintage condition with light wear and markings from use. Some light surface scratches to the case back. Center of case back with blue chased omega logo and "Speedmaster." Bezel in very good condition. Dial aged to even, soft, attractive black. Even oxidation to the luminescent indexes. Chronograph, date and moon phases working properly. Movement in excellent condition.
