Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair condition with wear, scuffing and scratches consistent with age and regular use. Bezel with wear and small markings. One dot indentation to the bezel at 11. Small scuff marking at 6. Heavier scratching and markings to the left side case band. Upper lugs and lower left lug with heavy material indentation and wear on the back side. Normal scuffing and small scratches to the case back. Dial in excellent condition. Date function working properly. Movement in excellent condition. Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to shipping.
