Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in fair vintage condition with wear, scuffing, marks, and oxidation consistent with age and use. Some heavy scratch markings to the left side bezel between 9 and 10. Heavy indentation to the case band between 8 and 9. Enamel dial with hairline fractures from 10-3, some with a colored oxidation. Most signification oxidized fracture between 12 and 1. Some dot surface markings and debris. Movement in overall very good condition with some light wear and may benefit from service. Minutes repeating in phase. Please note that the movement and dial were sold by Patek Philippe without a case. The case was later added by Tiffany & Co.
