Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in fair condition with wear, oxidation, and surface markings consistent with age and use. Case band with indentation between 3 and 4. Scuffing throughout. Some heavier oxidation to the hinged areas. Scuffing and wear to the engine turned back. Crystal with some scuffs and debris. Dial in overall very good condition with debris and surface materials which may benefit from cleaning. Fading and loss to the some of the red Arabic markers. Oxidation at the adjoining areas of the sunken subsidiary dial. hands with some wear and oxidation. Debris most visible at the outer perimeter.
