• 18’’’ nickel lever movement, highly jeweled, two hammers repeating on two gongs, column wheel chronograph • white enamel dial, painted black radial Roman numerals, blued steel Spade hands, subsidiary seconds, outer minute track, outermost minute and 1/5 second divisions • 18k yellow gold chased and engraved case, the front lid engraved with two riders on horseback within a landscape, the reverse engraved with a hunting trophy, both within in engraved scrolling borders, chased band, slide for the repeater at 6 o’clock, gold and glazed cuvettes • case, dial, movement and cuvette signed

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair vintage condition with wear, oxidation, and surface markings consistent with use and age. Chased cases remain in good condition with some soft wear. Some oxidation throughout, especially to the more detailed chased areas. Wear and heavier oxidation to the pusher and case lips. Cuvette in excellent condition with some wear to the lip and cased with the case number and a floral design. Movement in good condition with some signs of oxidation in small areas. Solid cuvette opens to reserve glazed cuvette. Minutes repeating in phase but may require serve at the purchaser's discretion. Dial in overall very good condition with light surface debris throughout. Glazing with some scuffing.
