Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair condition with somewhat heavy wear, scuffing, and scratches consistent with age and use. Scuffing to the case band. Small indentation between 9 and 10. Heavier scuffing and small markings across right side case band. Some light and small markings to the left side lugs. Jubilee bracelet with heavy wear and scuffing throughout. Scratches to the folding clasp. Bracelet and case overall may benefit from cleaning. Dial in very good condition. Some light and attractive oxidation radiating from the center of dial. Some very light dot markings. Movement in excellent condition. Bracelet is expandable. Case back is inscribed "SI's 40th Anniversary Honoree 9-13-94."
