Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Please note that this watch is accompanied by a Speidel stretch expandable bracelet. Case in overall good condition with signs of polishing, wear, scuffing, and small scratches consistent with age and use. Bezel with wear scuffing overall with a more prominent nick between 5 and 6. Some heavier scratch marks at 1, 8 and 12. Case bands with wear. Lug holes with to the left side band with some small markings around it's perimeter. Case back with scuffing and a large nick at the edge and some heavier marks to the perimeter. Oxidation to the threads of the screw down crown. Dial in overall good condition with even and oxidation. Some dark surface markings throughout. Heavy oxidation to the luminescent dots. Complete loss to the luminescence of the minute hand. Partial loss to the luminescence of the hour hand. Oxidation to the chronograph hand. Hands are replaced. Chronograph function working properly. Movement in good condition .
