Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good condition with light wear, markings, and signs of polish to the lugs edges. Upper right lug with a small indentation to the edge. Lower left lug with some markings and light nick to the inside top edge. Case bands with wear, scuffs, and light oxidation. Case back with wear, some scratches and scuffs and two areas of undulations, small nick to the case back edge, light scratches from strap changes, crisp gold hallmark to the lug, serial numbers in excellent crisp condition at 6. Dial in excellent, original condition with lume plots missing at 1 and 6 o'clock. Some oxidation to the threads of the screw down crown. Chronograph function working properly. ***Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to international shipping.***
