Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall fair vintage condition with wear, scuffing and some small surface markings consistent with age and use. Heavy oxidation to the tops of the chronograph pushers. Some polishing may have been done as visible on the case back. Dial in poor condition with heavy oxidation, wear, and surface markings overall. Some spotting overall and significant fading of the painted text. Uneven oxidation to the blued steel hands. Movement in fair condition. Chronograph function does not reset back to the 12 o'clock position, and is about two minutes divisions forward.
