• automatic nickel lever movement, 2 jewels, mono metallic compensation balance • cream sunburst dial, applied dart indexes and Arabic numerals, outer minute track, lancette hands, center seconds • stainless steel case modified with hood-style inserts, screw down crown and solid case back • case, dial, and movement signed • with a stainless steel Rolex rivet bracelet and folding clasp

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case, bracelet and folding clasp have been significantly polished and in overall fair condition with surface markings and scuffing consistent with age and use. Some areas of indentation or pitting at the rose gold lugs. Case back is heavily polished and there is significant wear and material loss to the fluted area of the case back. Dial in overall very good condition with light and even oxidation. Movement in fair condition with surface markings and oxidation which may be from water.
