Catalogue Note

Accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirming the year of manufacture in 1943 and date of sale on February 19th, 1945.

Patek Philippe manufactured Ref. 591 from approximately 1938 to 1954 in a very limited series of about 100 pieces. Its scarce production makes this chronograph wristwatch one of the rarest by Patek Philippe. Additionally, fewer than twelve examples of this reference are known to the public in yellow gold, making the present lot truly rare and attractive.
