Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good condition with oxidation, wear and light markings throughout consistent with age and use. Case back with some heavier areas of scuffing which has affected the engine turning pattern. Dial in overall good/fair condition with light dot markings and oxidation between the subsidiary dial plates. A hairline fractive between the date and month dials, fractures toward the case edge between 8-10. A hairline fracture at 3. All fractures visible under very close inspection by loupe. Perpetual calendar and moon phases working properly. Movement in overall very good condition with some light signs of oxidation to the larger plate.
