Catalogue Note

The Ref. 6234 helped pave the way for Rolex and their dominance of chronographs epitomized by the Daytona. The present example of the 6234 is cased in 18k yellow gold and features a beautifully preserved silver dial with blue telemeter track with indications in miles. Gold examples are rare to come to market and it is estimated that less than 200 examples were produced in both 14k and 18k combined.
