Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Rolex tag, a polishing cloth, a booklet, and a presentation box with outer packaging.

In the mid to late 1980s, Rolex went through a transitional period in which the firm experimented with new materials and made minor adjustments to give their pieces a more luxurious feel. Due to factory inaccuracies and conditions over time, these lacquered dials sometimes crack, creating a truly unique and interesting Spider Dial.

The present example, with its subtle and attractive webbing, catches the light and makes for a unique collectors' piece.
