Condition
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in excellent condition with scratches, scuffing and wear consistent with occasional use. Upper left lug with scratching at the upper step area. Upper right lug with some wear and scuffing. Left side case band with light surface markings. Concave bezel with some light wear and markings. Dial in excellent condition. Perpetual calendar, chronograph, day/night + leap year indication all working properly. Movement in excellent condition.
Patek Philippe may only issue Extract from the Archives five years after their sale date. Patek Philippe Archives Department confirms that this watch with MVT 5708729 and CASE 4611639 was made in 2013.

The Ref. 5270 was first introduced in Basel in 2011. It is distinguished by the new in-house caliber, CH 29-535 PS, and the subsidiary dials located below the central axis of the dial. In comparison with the previous model, Ref. 5970, it also has a larger case of 41 mm.
