• nickel lever movement, two hammers on two gongs • silvered dial, Arabic numerals, center engraved reserve • 18k yellow, pink and green gold case engraved overall with floral motifs, the cover with a blank cartouche, slide to activate the repeater • dial and case signed

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good vintage condition with wear, scuffing, and scratches consistent with age and use. Pink gold cartouche is blank with some light scuffing. Dial in fair/poor condition with signs of oxidation. surface spots throughout. Some fading or loss to the painted black indexes. Scuffing within the subsidiary dial. Light oxidation to the hands. Repeater chiming hours but not minutes and will require service. Seen from the movement, the second hammer does not activate.
