  • diameter 26 mm
• gilt lever movement, inscribed 18k gold cuvette • open faced, white enamel dial, painted blue Arabic numerals, gilt beaded outer minute track, blued steel spade hands • the case back in green enamel over engine turned decor with portrait of a Victorian woman with diamond set adornments, both bezels set with split pearls • case, dial, and movement signed • with a matching green enamel and diamond set brooch   

Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good condition with wear, light oxidation and scuffing consistent with age. All pearls and diamonds present. Some light scuffing to the case back enamel with portrait. Portrait beautifully rendered with no cracks or wear to the enamel. Luminous detailing of the Crystal with some wear. Cuvette inscribed "Horlogerie Soignée Suisse," signed "Beyer's Sohn Zurich." Dial in overall good condition with some areas with dust. Numerals visible but appear slightly soft. Movement in good condition.
