Condition

The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement. Case in overall good condition with wear, scuffing and light some light scratches consistent with age and use. Case has some light and even oxidation throughout. Outer sides of each lug with very light scratches and scuffing. Case bezel with some spottier oxidation and light scuffs. Left side case band with material marks likely from opening and closing the case back. Crown appears to have been replaced. Dial in very good condition some some very faint areas of dust. Dial is likely restored. Some light scuffing to the crystal. Overall aesthetic is attractive. Movement in very good condition. Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e. alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to shipping.
