Catalogue Note

Limited to 12 pieces, the present lot is an elegantly crafted timepiece that embodies Ballouard’s experience acquired from working at brands such as F.P. Journe and Franck Muller. It is clear that Ballouard has taken experience from his time at F.P. Journe and implemented elements into his own watch, whose movement simulates that of the  atelier. Complementing the refined simplicity of the timepiece, the Upside Down watch focuses on the hour indicators which are placed in an upside down position. Each is placed on a small disc that rotates and the “active” hour, which coincides to the right time, is flipped around to be right side up.
