Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives.

Produced from approximately 1989 until 2005, Ref. 3998 was the first automatic waterproof Calatrava wristwatch with date offered by Patek Philippe. To the best of our knowledge, sapphire-set indexes on a Ref. 3998 are extremely rare. The present lot accompanied by an Extract from the Archives confirmed the originality of the sapphire-set indexes.
