Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Richard Mille certificate, an instruction manual and a presentation box.

Apart from being one of the most elite sports watch brands, Richard Mille is known as an enthusiastic sponsor for some of the most exclusive sporting events such as the sailing regatta Voiles de Saint Barth, as well as the biennial vintage car event Le Mans Classic.  In addition to sporting events, Richard Mille also sponsors high-profile sportsmen, including tennis player Rafael Nadal, sprinter Yohan Blake and Formula One racer Felipe Massa.

Not only is Richard Mille a sponsor of prominent sporting events, the brand is also one of the official timekeepers to the invitation-only Perini Navi Cup, a regatta dedicated only to Perini yachts.  The Perini Navi Cup started in 2004 and this year will see its sixth edition at Porto Cervo in Sardinia.  The four-day event offers Perini owners an excellent series of races which blends a healthy atmosphere for competition with various social affairs for the indulgence of guests.

RM 015 is reportedly to be inspired by Maltese Falcon, one of Perini Navi's most spectacular and extraordinary creations. The shapes of the crown, the case outlines, the tourbillon and winding barrel bridges, among other features, reflects various nautical elements of the vessel, from the shape of the hull and the decks to the screws and pulleys.  The transparent dial and case back enables one to marvel at the intricate tourbillion movement, with a torque indicator that displays the mainspring's tension, a function selector and free sprung balance with variable inertia. All of these are skillfully put in a case held together by eight titanium screws, allowing for a more durable structure with maximized functionality.

In addition to being a Richard Mille masterpiece, RM 015 is no doubt a trophy for connoisseurs who have a passion for sailing and a true manifestation of sophistication.
