• jewelled manual winding lever movement, repeating on two gongs • white enamel dial, Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for day, date, month combined with leap-year indication and constant seconds combined with an aperture for phases of the moon • 18k pink gold case and cuvette, front cover engraved with a monogram, chronograph pushers to the band, gold cuvette engraved with the details of the watch • case, cuvette, dial and movement signed

Marc Plojoux was a celebrated watchmaker with a workshop on the, now prestigious street, rue du Rhône in Geneva. He specialized in complicated watches and jewellery and was honoured with two awards during the World Exhibition in 1878 in Paris.
