Condition

The movement is running at the time of cataloguing. The dial has clear signs of aging with discoloration which is consistent with its age. The case has scratches and scuffs throughout, it has also been polished however the hallmark is still visible to the band over the crown. The watch has not been tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Catalogue Note

Awarded to employees of T. Eaton Co. Ltd. for 25 years of service. The Eaton Company  specially ordered watches from Rolex customized with the 1/4 Century Club dial. The case backs were engraved with the recipients name and dates of employment.
This watch was presented to Frank J. Kavanagh to mark a quarter century of continuous service with the T. Eaton Co. Limited 1917-1942.
