Comprising: a necklace, to the front suspending a fringe set with cushion-shaped and circular-cut rubies stated to weigh approximately 6.50 carats in total, embellished with old-cut diamonds, to the diamond-set navette-shaped links backchain spaced by collet-set diamonds and rubies; and a pair of pendent earrings en suite, the diamonds weighing approximately 6.00 carats in total, mounted in yellow gold and silver-topped gold, necklace length approximately 420mm, with safety chain, earrings with screwback fittings.  (2)

Condition

Accompanied by Gübelin report numbered 17051166 and 17051167/1 and 2, both dated 5 June 2017, stating that sixteen rubies tested are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating. Please refer to the reports for details. Mounted in yellow gold and silver-topped-gold. Sixteen rubies tested stated to weigh approximately a total of 6.50 carats for necklace and 0.70 carats for pendent earrings; the smaller circular-cut rubies estimated to weigh approximately 0.60 carat in total ; all of pink-red to pinkish red colour and medium strong saturation, with typical inclusions and some are surface reaching, some abrasions, nicks and minor chips. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 6.00 carats, majority H to J colour, VS to SI clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age, overall in very good condition.
