Set with a translucent carved jadeite hoop, suffused with bright apple green streaks to the paler background, centring upon a cluster of circular-cut rubies and diamond, to the fluted gold border, mounted in 14 karat yellow gold, signed Tiffany & Co., circa 1954

Condition

Accompanied by Hong Kong Jade & Stone Laboratory certificate numbered SJ 152912, dated 29 June 2017, stating that the jadeite is natural, known in the trade as "A Jade". Please refer to the certificate for further details. Signed TIFFANY & CO., stamped 14K for 14 karat yellow gold. Inscribed with "With Love Bert Bert. Jr. Carol Mothers Day, 1954". Carved jadeite hoop of semi-translucency, suffused with bright apple green streaks to the white and yellowish background, with internal fissures and some are surface reaching. Rubies estimated to weigh approximately 0.35 carat in total, purplish red of strong saturation, with minor typical inclusions, some nicks, abrasions and a few tiny chips. Diamonds weighing approximately 0.05 carat, about G to H colour, VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mounting. Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age, overall in very good condition.
