Each designed as an octagonal rhodonite or green hardstone plaque with circular-cut diamond cross motif details, accented with collet-set sapphires or rubies; mounted in 18 karat yellow and white gold, both with British assay marks and Asprey's maker's marks.

Condition

Both frames signed Asprey. British assay mark and stamped 750 for 18 karat yellow and white gold. Hexagonal rhodonite measures 111.80 x 110.40 x 7.09mm, opaque hardstone, pinkish red colour of intense saturation, shows patches of black, very commonly seen in rhodonite, Upon close inspection can see crackled and porous texture on surface, not easily noticeable. Cabochon sapphires, estimated to weigh approximately 3.00 carats, of medium dark blue colour of strong saturation, with typical inclusions and minor surface reaching under 10X magnfication. Shows minor signs of wear. In very good condition. Hexagonal green opaque hardstone measures 111.96 x 110.40 x 6.27mm, medium green colour of medium strong saturation with streaks of darker green. Upon close inspection, can see crackled and porous texture on surface, not generally noticeable. Ruby cabochons, estimated to weigh approximately 3.00 carats, of medium red colour of intense saturation, with typical inclusions and some surface reaching under 10X magnification. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 1.20 carat, on average F to G colour, overall VS clarity, as gauged and graded in the mount. Show signs of re-work, overall in good condition.
