Condition

Overall very good condition. The table retains its original finish, which displays a rich warm tone. The table with minor and light wear to the finish concentrated to the table top and edges of the table top, consistent with age and gentle use. The wood surfaces with scattered minor surface scratches, abrasions, occasional small/minor discolorations, and some light surface soiling concentrated to the recessed contours and consistent with age and gentle use. With some edge abrasions and associated minor losses concentrated to the edges of the aprons, legs and feet consistent with age and use. One of the upper corners of the table top with an old small loss measuring approximately 1 x 1 1/2 inches, not visually detractive. One of the long aprons with a small edge loss near the right leg measuring approximately 1 1/2 inches long. The opposite apron with a small edge loss near the left leg measuring approximately 1 inch long. One leg with a small loss to the outermost vertical edge at approximately mid-height. The wood with some occasional minor age cracks (all stable) due to the natural expansion and contraction of the wood over time, with a slightly more pronounced vertical crack to one leg running the height of the leg. A superb example of this iconic Stickley form in excellent original condition.
