Condition

Overall in good condition. Please note that one side of each unit is angled, creating a trapezoidal shape. The lot includes three bookshelves. Please visit Sothebys.com or contact the 20th Century Design department for additional photographs. The surfaces with minor scattered scuffs and scratches and with a few chips concentrated to the edges, with a few filled in. The top surfaces of two of the bookshelves and the proper right of one of the same shelves with minor lifting of the veneer. An area of veneer to the underside of one of the shelves measuring approximately 8 ¼ x 3 1/8 in. has been sensitively restored. The top corner of the proper left panel of the same shelf with another area of restored veneer, measuring approximately 3 x 1 ½ in, not visually distracting. The left and right respective panels of two of the shelves with areas which have been restored, the largest measuring approximately 3 x 1 ¼ in. The rear panels of all three bookshelves with drilled holes for wall hanging, from the line of production. The interior panel of one shelf with minor chip near one of the mounting holes and mesaures 1/8 x ¼ in. A great set of shelves with excellent provenance.
