Condition

Overall in very good condition. The surface of the glass components with white impact marks which are intentional and part of the technique and design. The seams of the glass panels with minor yellowing of the glue, not visually distracting. The top corner of one panel with a minor chip which does not appear to be intentional and is not visually distracting. The mounting holes of the glass with a few minor chips, not visible when installed. The metal surfaces with minor surface scratches and oxidation consistent with age and gentle handling. A few of the screws have been replaced. One screw is missing, which does not affect the mounting and stability of the sconces. Please note Sotheby's does not guarantee the functionality and/or the voltage compatibility for electrical wiring, and suggests having all electrical components inspected by a licensed electrician. An excellent model with great provenance that is very representative of Ingrand's designs.
