Condition

Overall very good condition. The wood surfaces of the chairs and ottoman present with faint and minor rubbing, nicks and scattered minor abrasions, consistent with age and gentle use. The wood frames executed in a rich, warmly hued teak with natural red undertones. The armchairs are an assembled pair, exhibiting a very faint and minor variation in finish. One frame is stamped Denmark and has replaced screws to the stretchers. The leather overall on both chairs and the single ottoman appears in very good condition, though likely not original to the frames. One chair has a few faint scuffs to the upper edge of the back rest and the second chair with an area of rubbing and fading to the black leather (approx. 2 x 5 in.), though not visibly obtrusive. The removable seat cushions of both chairs exhibit a minor and slight settling in the center of the cushion and one with a very minute nick to center (⅛ in.). Characterized by clean, sculptural lines, this iconic form presents well overall.
