Condition

Overall very good condition. When viewed in person, the colors of both vases present with greater richness and variation compared to the printed catalogue illustration. The vase on the right in the catalogue illustration with a frog decorating the top. The vases have been examined under black light and appear to be in original condition with no evidence of prior restoration. The glazed surfaces with light dirt to the recessed areas and some minor irregularities in the glaze inherent in the making. The vase to the left in the catalogue illustration with some crazing to the glazed surface inherent in the making and not visually detractive. A very charming design and well-matched pairing.
