Description

  • Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat
  • Vase
  • impressed Dalpayrat/108
  • glazed stoneware

Condition

Overall very good condition. The vase has been examined under black light and appears to be in original condition with no evidence of prior restoration. The glazed surfaces with minor irregularities inherent in the making, including a small fissure/crevice approximately 1 inch long at approximately three-quarter height. The bottom edge of the base with a few small, shallow chips, visible in the catalogue illustration. A great example of Dalpayrat's work, with great scale and a beautiful glaze when viewed first hand.
