Condition
Overall in very good condition. The glazed stoneware surfaces with light surface dirt to the recessed areas of the design consistent with age. There are two minor areas of sensitively undertaken professional restoration to the lower bill of the beak and the rim of the base aperture below the beak. The wood base is likely orignal with some light surface scratches, edge abrasions, minor dents, and some light rubbing consistent with age and gentle handling. When viewed in person, the bird's face presents with a striking expression.
