Condition

Overall in very good original condition. When viewed in person the chrysoprase displays a jewel-like luminous green and with a few different hues throughout. The silver surfaces with a few light surface scratches and minute abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The balls around the bottom of the stem with a few very minor indents only visible upon close inspection. One of the recessed areas between the balls with a small crack along 3/4 inch, not visually distracting. The stem is slightly off, as visible on the catalogue illustration. A beautiful and rare work by Ashbee with a delicately hammered surface treatment on the coupe.
