  • "Conoid" Dining Table
  • with original owner's name
  • American black walnut and rosewood
  • 28 1/2 x 73 x 48 1/2 inches

Condition

Overall in very good condition. The wood with light surface scratches and minor abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. The table top surface and edges with some surface scratches, minor dents, occasional minor areas of discoloration and a few minor traces of accretion and water marks. The burls on the table top have been filled in. Both of the longer free-form edges with scattered minor areas of infill. One edge with a small loss to the widest point of the free-form edge measuring approximately 3/4 inch in length, not visually detractive. The opposite free-form edge with two small dents to the widest point and a small loss to the upper edge measuring approximately ¾ inch long. The legs and stretcher with light surface scratches, minor abrasions and some minor scattered traces of water stains. A great example with book-matched table top and nice open burls in the table top.
