Overall in very good condition. With some small and minute air bubbles and particulate inclusions inherent in the making and not visually detracting. Both the interior and exterior are richly iridized, imparting the vase with strong luminosity and a range of brilliant hues. The exterior of the vase with a few very light and fine surfaces scratches, and with a minute pinhead size fleck at the widest contour of the cushion base only visible under very close inspection or magnification. The lower region of the vase interior with scattered traces of what appears to be calcification, as well as surface soiling, not visible unless examining the vase with strong remitted interior light. A stunning example, displaying a particularly elegant form, highly artistic decoration and striking color. The three peacock eyes are beautifully rendered, surrounded by exquisite linear feather decoration in a range of brilliant jewel-tone hues.
