Literature

Condition

The surfaces of the frames have been lightly cleaned and applied with a light varnish. One chair with scattered chips to the black lacquer to the top of the back rest. Several other chairs have occasional nicks and losses to the lacquered edges to the arms and back rests. Several chairs have very light/minor age separation to the veneer to the backrests - however the veneers all remain stable and secure with no lifting evident. Overall in our opinion the chairs present well overall, with each chair retaining a firm structure. Each chair has been professionally re-upholstered - the upholstery of each remains clean and with no rips or tears.
