Condition

Overall in good condition. Please note that the base is stone and presents with natural veining. A minor surface crack to one of the base, possibly along a vein. The bases are likely added to the pedestal. The body of the pedestals with some surface scratches, minor abrasions, light surface soiling and a few minor and sensitively undertaken restorations and stabilization to the veneer, not visually distracting. The tops in birch and slate are likely replaced, one of the tops presents with small hairline cracks to the birch along the slate, which don't affect the solidity of the pedestal. The slate with light surface scratches and edge abrasions consistent with age and gentle use. Overall two pedestal with beautiful figuring to the wood and great scale when viewed in person.
