the compressed globular body raised on three short tapering legs, the waisted neck applied with six large flower-shaped studs set below the wide everted rim, the shoulder with a pair of fish-form handles enclosed by upright frames, covered overall save for the feet with a sky-blue glaze accentuated with irregular purple splashes

Condition

The handles and rim are restored, with the over-paint cracking and flaked in some areas, including an approx. 8-mm chip to the rim. There are minor manufacturing imperfections, including small glaze bursts and dark spots. One foot has an approx. 1.4 x .7 cm chip. The base has "S.59" painted in black, and an old label ("1175"). There is a partial old label applied to the interior.
