Condition

Lady with coiffure: The canvas is visible at the upper and lower left corners. The picture surface is covered by a stable, fine web of craquelure. Minor surface dirt. There is a pentimento to the figure's dress at the knees. Under UV light, some old varnish remains and fluoresces green. Minor, fine dots and dashes of retouching are visible to address aforementioned craquelure. In overall good condition and ready to hang. Lady with pipe: There is an area of convexity at the center of the work. The surface is in overall good condition, aside from some very minor craquelure, most visible in the darker pigments. Under UV light, the majority of the work remains covered by a green fluorescing varnish that obscures the pictures surface. Framed and ready to hang.
