the low, rounded sides rising from a tapered foot to a flared rim, painted in bright enamels with a scholar-official mounted on a blue-spotted steed and shaded by an attendant, a courtier presenting a gift wrapped in blue silk, with an attendant bearing a drum a few paces behind, a knotted pine and red sun and clouds above and in the distance

Condition

In overall good condition with typical wear to the enamels, some loss to the overglaze blue and a small flake loss to the foot ring.
