of rectangular shape, the cushion molded and beaded members of the frame supporting four shelves, each outlined by an openwork gallery enclosing quatrefoil struts, the middle shelf above a pair of short drawers each carved to the front with a symmetrical ruyi band, the legs joined  at the base by beaded shaped spandrels (2)

Condition

The top panel, lowest shelf, drawer interiors and back panel of both cases are softwood. There has been general consolidation to the joinery and likely replacements of a few rails, various openwork panels, and aprons.There is expected wear, some consolidated splitting, particularly to the feet with one back leg having a filled repair. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
