the interior vividly decorated in green enamel with a five-clawed scaly dragon leaping in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl' surrounded by flame motifs and clouds, the scene repeated around the exterior as a frieze with two striding dragons, all between single underglaze-blue line borders, the base with a six-character mark within a double-circle in underglaze blue

Condition

Three restored shallow chips to the rim, and one hairline crack from the rim extending downward approximately 1 1/8 inch. The rim is slightly warped.
