Description

  • PORCELAIN
the gently rounded sides rising from a short tapered foot to an everted rim, the interior painted in bright cobalt-blue tones with a scholar official and attendants standing beneath fruiting branches, with Shoulao riding a crane, bordered with shou characters and a meandering lingzhi scroll, the reverse with sprays of flowers, the base with an underglaze blue six-character mark within a double circle  

Condition

With the exception of warping during firing and some light fritting to the rim the dish is in good condition.
