embroidered with nine gold five-clawed dragons on a blue ground amid ruyi-shaped clouds, bats and the bajixiang, all above foaming waves crashing against a mountain, hemmed with a lishui border

Condition

This robe is sealed within the frame and has been examined as such. The robe is in good condition, with the exception of some wear to the under seam of one sleeve. The robe is currently supported by attachments with thread to the back part of the perplex. There are some slight fading and scurffing to the back of the collar, with slight threads running on the heads of the dragon at both shoulders.
